Hispanidades Series: Textbooks

HISPANIDADES is a multi-media educational series consisting of textbooks, workbooks, study guides and DVDs designed for instructors of Spanish Language and Hispanic Culture. Based on the film series by Carlos Fuentes, EL ESPEJO ENTERRADO (“THE BURIED MIRROR”), a unique documentary produced in collaboration with the SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION, HISPANIDADES provides students with the background to understand the heritage of the Hispanic world—its history, culture, art and literature. DVD Narrator, Carlos Fuentes, Mexico’s renowned novelist and social commentator, provides a personal interpretation of the dramatic scenes recreated visually from the past.
